Given the increasing importance of trust for both consumers and businesses, the industry is growing and being reshaped, particularly in light of the recent acceleration of digitalisation and ecommerce. Trustpilot believes that the priorities of consumers when making purchases, which historically were price, selection, convenience and trust, have now shifted to putting trust, rather than price and selection, as a key priority, followed by convenience, selection and price.
