Genuit holds guidance as price rises offset Iran war hit

(Sharecast News) - Genuit said its expectations for the full year remain unchanged despite a sharp fall in interim profit, with pricing action, cost control and a strengthening infrastructure pipeline expected to support an improvement from next year.

(Sharecast News) - Deutsche Bank has slashed its target price for plastic piping systems Genuit by nearly 20% amid a "challenging environment" for the plastic piping manufacturer, but said that self-help measures have mitigated downside risk to forecasts.

(Sharecast News) - Shares in Genuit fell on Friday as the pipe maker said it expected annual operating profit to be at the lower end of estimates after revenues fell in the first four months of the year amid tough markets and uncertainty due to the Iran war.
