Balfour Beatty plc (the "Company") has been notified that Charles Allen, Lord Allen of Kensington, CBE and Chair of Balfour Beatty has purchased a total of 2,388 shares in the Company by way of re-investing dividends in the Company's shares.  Following these purchases (as detailed below), Charles Allen, Lord Allen of Kensington, CBE holds a total of 109,831 shares in the Company.
