(Sharecast News) - Citi downgraded Legal & General on Monday to 'sell' from 'neutral' on valuation grounds and cut the price target to 245p from 251p as it noted the shares are up 19% year to date.

(Sharecast News) - Legal & General reported a jump in first-half core operating profit on Wednesday as it highlighted a strong performance in asset management and said full-year earnings per share growth would be above guidance.

(Sharecast News) - Analysts at Berenberg lifted their target price on Legal & General from 308p to 353p on Monday, saying growing confidence in the sustainability of the insurer's dividend growth was helping drive a stronger share price performance this year.
