Kingfisher shares spark on guidance lift after H1 earnings jump 9.9%

(Sharecast News) - Shares in Kingfisher surged on Tuesday as the DIY retailer lifted annual guidance after a 9.9% jump in half-year profits driven by a strong performance at its Screwfix unit along with gains in Poland and Spain.

(Sharecast News) - Deutsche Bank upgraded B&Q and Castorama owner Kingfisher to 'hold' from 'sell' on Thursday and lifted the price target to 300p from 260p.

(Sharecast News) - Shares in Kingfisher jumped on Tuesday as the DIY chain owner said it was still on track to meet full-year guidance despite a 0.9% fall in first-quarter sales due to softer markets in the UK and France.
